THE STILLWATER PROJECT

The Stillwater Project represents a wide array of service projects and initiatives in Stillwater, Oklahoma.  These projects provide opportunities for us to serve and work alongside our friends and neighbors in Stillwater.

The primary focus of the Stillwater Project is our bi-monthly food distribution, which targets families with need throughout the Stillwater community.  Beyond regular distributions of food, the program also provides backpacks and school supplies to area children each August.  Each Christmas, special boxes of food that include the makings of a full Christmas dinner are provided to all families attending.  Each program includes inspirational music and words of encouragement.

THE HONDURAS PROJECT

We are partnering with Faith Medical Missions of Chickasha, OK and Cristo Vive Church in Honduras to provide food for six feeding programs for children. CwC is providing half of the financial support necessary to feed 500-600 children on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday of each week. Cristo Vive Church conducts this outreach and provides VBS-type education for the children who attend the feeding programs.

Faith Medical Missions (www.faithmed.org) is currently taking a medical team to this area once a year. Eye doctors, medical doctors, nurses, dentists, and evangelists work together to help meet the spiritual and physical needs of those coming to the clinic sites each day.

THE CAMBODIA PROJECT

The first global initiative of Cowboys with Compassion was directed toward orphans in Cambodia, and we have been partnering with individuals and organizations in the country ever since.  It is estimated that 100,000 or more children are currently orphaned in the Kingdom of Cambodia. CwC is currently supportive of Hope for Orphans Cambodia (HFOC) in Kampong Cham Provence.  Special project items for HFOC are the focus of our support and provide giving opportunities for our donors.
